Astroport is a resort surrounded by the Aravali ranges near the Sariska Tiger Reserve, and as its name suggests, it is renowned for astronomical research where celestial studies are possible due to the resort’s clean atmosphere, almost complete absence of artificial light, and lack of noise pollution.

The resort is intended to accommodate all contemporary amenities using locally accessible materials. High ceilings and weather-resistant insulation sheets on the sloping roof are used to decrease internal heat gain.
